Specific Learning Disorders
Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are neurodevelopmental conditions characterized by persistent difficulties in reading, writing, or mathematics. These difficulties are not due to intellectual disabilities, sensory impairments, or lack of educational opportunities. SLDs impact the way the brain processes information, which makes learning and performing certain academic skills more difficult.
